In October 2000, we made our move from the big city lights to the serenity of country living just outside Kemptville, Ontario.

We extensively researched the alpaca lifestyle and were convinced it was for us! We took delivery of four ladies (one pregnant) in December of that year, and added a dual registered male the following June.

Our primary focus in this new lifestyle was to raise breeding stock and to reap the annual rewards of sheering. We also felt that by educating the public, we could assist new alpaca farmers in getting their farm off the ground at an affordable price. We enjoy introducing people to our alpaca family and are willing to discuss the many aspects of our experiences with these huggable assets.

We have been truly blessed by our introduction to these creatures. With the sale of products, our alpaca family costs us nothing additional and we have all the pleasures of seeing them every day—to say nothing of the therapeutic value they offer.
